First - Over the phone we get a brief overview of the matter with which you need help. Do not share any confidential information on this call. If your matter is outside of our practice area, we will try to refer you to another attorney who may be able help you.

Second - If we believe we can help you, we will arrange a consultation to talk in more detail. You provide us information and/or documentation about your matter at that time.

Third - At the consultation, we give you an estimate of what work needs to be done on your legal matter and an initial estimate of the total cost of your project.

Fourth - If you decide to hire us, we initiate our attorney-client relationship by providing you an engagement letter outlining exactly what you can expect from us and what we will expect from you.
